Laurence van Camp joins ARC EDIT

ARC EDIT has announced that Laurence van Camp has joined for commercial representation in Australia and New Zealand.

Van Camp has had a rich career, proving himself to be one of Australia’s editorial talents, cutting many award-winning spots with Australia and New Zealand’s top production companies and agencies.

Says van Camp: “I’ve known a few of the ARC folk for a long time. Since they set up, I’ve watched them grow into the place for the best editors to call home. They support storytelling and craft from every angle, which means something. It’s terrific to finally make the leap and join the roster!”

Van Camp is inspired by the challenges and possibilities of storytelling within short and long-form narratives, and joining ARC makes sense with both ARC EDIT and ARC FILM under one roof.

Says van Camp: “What they have managed to create across short and long narratives has been impressive. The space is absolutely one of a kind. It’s easy to understand why ARC FILM, alongside ARC EDIT, has become Australia’s premier independent post house, and I wanted in.”

Having worked with many of the ARC crew through the years, including MD Joseph Perkins and executive producer Daniel Fry, van Camp has quickly settled into his new home at ARC’s Alexandria digs.

Says Fry: “I am so excited to welcome Laurence into the fold. He is one of the first great friends I made in the industry, is just the loveliest guy, and has an exceptional talent to boot. It’s a joy to have the gang back together!”

Van Camp is available now for commercial cutting across APAC. For more information, contact Daniel Fry at daniel@arcedit.com.
