Kina Bank launches new brand campaign shot by Johnny Moubarak via Taxi Film Production

Kina Bank has launched a new brand campaign promoting its banking business in the Papua New Guinea market, directed by Johnny Moubarak and produced by Taxi Film Production.

A self-confessed challenger brand, Kina Bank is looking to differentiate itself with its focus on its customers, demonstrated beautifully by focusing on three local PNG business owners and showcasing their different journeys, with Kina Bank working alongside them.

Shot pre the Covid-19 crisis, Moubarak’s directing style is hands-on and intimate, empowering his brand ambassador talent – Tabu Warupi (Tabu Designs), Julian Henao (The Healthy Food Company by Chef Julz Henao) and Jelena Uraru (Next of Kin Productions) to express themselves naturally and with ultimate confidence.

Says Moubarak: “It was great to work closely with Papua New Guinean agency Media Playground to create and finetune the TVC approach. It allowed me explore the client’s objectives and turn those into creative ideas for screen.”

With a passion for adventure and travel, Moubarak’s directing reel is steadily growing with a nod towards South Pacific brands and clients in particular.

Kina Bank’s campaign is currently live online and will be launched on air later in the year.
