Kennards Hire launches new ‘Count on Kennards’ campaign via newly appointed agency Enigma
Iconic brand Kennards Hire has enlisted Enigma for its 2019 major brand campaign off the back of a competitive pitch process.
Based on the premise that you can always ‘Count on Kennards’, the new campaign clearly positions Kennards Hire’s role as the ‘Enabler’ helping customers from all walks of life. Be it the weekend DIYer through to the tradie and construction site manager, Kennards Hire’s range, ease of hiring, quality and sound advice allows them all to be their ‘on-the-tools’ best.
Says Lara Galvin, head of marketing, Kennards Hire: “For us, the key deciding factors in appointing a new creative agency are creative skills, strategic insight and cultural alignment to our brand. Enigma stood out for all three.”
As with all its marketing campaigns, the ‘Count on Kennards’ concept is based on the company’s ‘Fair Dinkum’ value.
Says Pete Ogden, ECD, Enigma: “We’re a down-to-earth bunch here so jumped at the chance to work on such a well-loved brand. Getting to know the brand from the inside and exploring where ‘Count on Kennards’ can take us has been a fun journey. It’s also been gratifying that a lot of the work we pitched is actually being produced. A sure sign that we ‘get’ them.”

Says Jen Peace, MD, Enigma Sydney: “Kennards Hire is an iconic brand, working tirelessly behind the scenes to help those that ‘do’…be it those who DIY, tradies and those that help build Australia and New Zealand’s critical infrastructure. Most importantly, they help all of those ‘on the tools’ to do the job with a sense of pride and satisfaction. This campaign is testament to the passionate team at Kennards Hire and their absolute customer-focus.”
The campaign is live with TV, radio, digital and social activity.

Get in you Caldawg.
These are fun and simple ads. Well done.
There equipment hire is 50 percent again as some of there competitors
They are more than 100% better than the others I wreckon
Are you serious … Leo Woodhead and Ian McCarrol with Remi and Griffo’ these are some of the most talented crew in the country, the ONLY way you can have access to this level of crew for such an average project is from the callsheets that we send out. Enigma Agency has 5 stars and from just 1 review. So this is the question, should the key crew, ( like the director) have their contact details hidden from the call sheet that goes to agency and clients?
