Jeans For Genes appoints Wunderman

Jeans for Genes Logo.jpgWunderman has been appointed to handle iconic brand Jeans for Genes, a major national fundraiser of the Children’s Medical Research Institute, following a three-way pitch.

 

Children’s Medical Research Institute (CMRI) is an independent organisation that conducts research on the genes involved in human health and development, and the fundamental causes of childhood diseases.  Its scientists investigate conditions such as birth defects, cancer and epilepsy. 

The Institute’s signature event is Jeans for Genes Day where each yearmore than two million Australians wear their favourite jeans and donatemuch needed funds to support vital genetic research to advance theprevention and treatment of disease, leading to healthier generationsof children.

Jeans for Genes Day is held on the first Friday of every August and this year it’s on 5 August.
