Jack Nunn exits Clemenger for Creative Director role at Australian investing platform pearler
CB Exclusive – Jack Nunn has joined Australian investing platform pearler as creative director, leaving his role as creative partner at Clemenger BBDO (formerly DDB Sydney) after a two-year stint leading the McDonald’s account.
Nunn shared the news on LinkedIn, revealing he’d joined pearler the month prior: “I’ve joined the brilliant team at pearler! Nick Nicolaides, Hayden Smith and the scarily smart folks at pearler have built something really special. Pearler helps everyday Aussies invest for the long term, without the noise, jargon or Wall Street cosplay.
“I’m very excited to help evolve the brand, tell the story, build out an in-house agency like no other and hopefully whip up a few campaigns that don’t make people immediately want to close the app.”
Nunn rejoined DDB Sydney (now Clemenger BBDO) in July 2024 as creative partner on the McDonald’s account, following a stint in the UK at Special London and Ogilvy UK, where he was creative lead on Jack Daniel’s and Coca-Cola’s global campaign and led the Molson Coors pitch win. Before that, he spent close to two years as a DDB Sydney creative director, also on McDonald’s, and served as National and NSW co-head of AWARD School.
Earlier in his career, Nunn spent six years at Special Australia, rising from the agency’s first creative hire to creative director, and prior to that held roles at M+C Saatchi and Havas Worldwide.
With more than fifteen years of experience across Australia and the UK, Nunn has led major campaigns for McDonald’s, Uber Eats, Tourism NZ, Virgin and Durex, winning Cannes Lions, D&AD Pencils and Global Effie awards along the way.
