iSelect launches new creative brand campaign ‘Save More’ via Howatson+Company
Comparison service iSelect, in collaboration with Howatson+Company, has unveiled a new creative brand platform — ‘Save More’.
The new platform highlights iSelect’s mission to make Australians’ lives easier by saving them time, effort and money on their household bills.
This marks a new and exciting collaboration for Howatson+Company, after its appointment as creative agency by iSelect in December.
The comical extremes of DIY comparison in a world overwhelmed by choice is at the heart of iSelect’s latest advertising campaign to launch the new brand platform.
Directed by Benji Weinstein, the campaign focuses on the consequences of spending too much time trying to research and compare utilities, insurance, and household bills without the help of iSelect.
Lucy Rayment, executive — brand and customer at iSelect said that Aussies can often find the process of comparing household bills and insurances overwhelming: “While it’s true that some Aussies do enjoy comparing every provider all by themselves, most find it complicated and time-consuming and would rather be doing other things they really love.
“Our latest brand campaign aims to remind Aussies that iSelect and our Comparison Experts are here to help so they can get back to enjoying more of what matters to them most.”
Howatson+Company’s executive creative directors, Richard Shaw and Jeremy Hogg, said that since day one, working with the iSelect team has been an amazing experience: “There’s a clear ambition, from both a business and advertising point of view, to move the brand forward.
“The launch of this platform complements this ambition perfectly, showcasing iSelect’s mission to help all Australians save time, effort and money.”
The campaign launched on 12 May, rolling out across TV, cinema, BVOD, online video and OOH with support across digital and owned placements.

Ok
and funny in a good way
What does jason donovan have to do witg it.l just dont get it
Wall to wall exposition leaves no room for funnies.
j’adore
Slipping
The Jason Donovan one and guinea pig ones are decent. The Susan myth one feels like it didn’t need to be made.
It feels a bit over-written and over-explained. Feels like you could have lost a lot of words and given the lines more time to breath… maybe cut them down further and made them more punchy.
the second 2. pig life crisis is pretty cute
Comedy is hard
The comedy is good. Just think we need to make a pact not to write ads using this VO/narrative technique for a bit.
He’s found Gary, awesome work
I loved these. Had me in chuckles.
Whether these tickle your funny bone or not I admire H+Co’s ability to get production budget for these sorts of things.
big time

I worked on this pitch. I genuinely thought we had a brand platform that would give us years and years of quality ads. Seeing something like this is such a kick in the balls. It just turns out that it’s not what you know it’s who you know. Make it make sense.
Boring. Again.
when did they leave the previous agency?
What a missed opportunity. Trying to be funny. No clear brand distinction. So much going on, absolute dogs breakfast!
Not good. Will be forgotten after the 4 week media buy and never seen again.
love
Not worried if the ads are affective or not – i”m just wondering who the other 2 are in that Jason Donovan ad They look familiar bit I can’t put names to the faces
Who is the Brunette Actress in this commercial that works for iSelect?
Who is the actress in the red jumper?
Who is the actress in the red sweater?
I think the Iselect ads are brilliant so clever
Well done
