Icon Agency shortlisted for two Global PR Agency of the Year Awards

Icon Agency has been shortlisted for the coveted title of ‘2023 PR Agency of the Year’ in Campaign UK’s ‘Global Agency of the Year’ awards, emerging as the sole Australian contender in the category. Icon secured silver in the same category last year.

Nomination for Campaign UK’s Global AOY follows closely on the heels of also being shortlisted for the prestigious PR Week’s Global Awards in the ‘Best Agency in APAC’ category. The awards will be announced in June and May, respectively.

Icon Group managing director Joanne Painter said receiving nominations for such prestigious awards was a proud moment for both her and the team, especially given the high standard of entries and large network agencies also on the shortlist.

Says Painter: “Being nominated among the world’s best at such prestigious events is exceptional, but I owe all the success to ourdedicated and talented team and brave client partners. Great work comes from great leaders.”

“We can’t wait to celebrate with the world’s best on awards night and hopefully bring home the metal.”

The nominations underscore significant award achievements throughout the last 12 months, including an impressive tally of eight PR Agency of the Year nominations and four notable victories.

Icon continues its growth trajectory, adding dozens of clients to its roster over the past year while securing a major international contract with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade that will see it expand operations into Timor-Leste and more than 10 countries across the Pacific.
