HPA Award-winning colourist Keiran Lee opens new Sydney post studio, Eighteen Percent

Keiran Lee – the Hollywood Professional Association award-winning colourist trusted with global franchises such as Mortal Kombat, The LEGO Movie 2, and Peter Rabbit 2 – has launched his own grading facility in Woolloomooloo, Sydney.

The new studio takes its name from the 18% grey of a Macbeth chart – the reference point for exposure. It’s a fitting metaphor: Eighteen Percent is built to be the benchmark for screen-ready work in Sydney’s advertising scene.

After more than a decade grading studio features for Netflix, Warner Bros. and Sony Pictures, alongside directors like Simon McQuoid, Chris McKay and Will Gluck, Keiran is bringing that same cinematic craft to the Australian commercial market.

“Commercials deserve the same level of respect and finish as features,” says Lee. “At Eighteen Percent, agencies and directors get the polish of Hollywood, but in a boutique, collaborative space built for speed and creativity.”

The studio offers both freelance grading and full-service sessions in a gallery inspired suite – premium, comfortable, and designed for clients who want their work elevated to screen-quality.

A master collaborator and skilled technical artist, Lee is also available as a freelance colourist to work in editorial and post houses across the country.
