Host Sydney appoints former Droga5’s Gary Clarke to head creative services department
Host has today announced that Gary Clarke has joined the agency to head up creative services, supporting joint ECDs Bob Mackintosh and Julian Watt.
Clarke joins from Droga5 where he had led the creative traffic department since 2010. Before that he spent three years as head of creative services at Leo Burnett Sydney as well as prior roles at BMF and M&C Saatchi Sydney.
Clarke began his career at BBH London and during his six years there, worked in a range of production and project management roles including a year at BBH New York.
Says Mackintosh: “As our department grows, we wanted an experienced creative services manager to help us create the right working environment to enable our teams to do their best work without distractions. Gary’s worked at many of the best agencies in town and joins us with impeccable credentials.”
Says Clarke: “Host has long been regarded as one of Australia’s most innovative creative agencies and it was an opportunity I felt I had to grab with both hands.”
