Grey takes on ex-Portfolio Project participants and Themify get behind The Portfolio Project

Theme.jpgGrey Health Group has taken on two ex-Portfolio Project participants, an advertising creative program created to help develop creative skills of young talented job seekers with a disability, using real briefs to upskill participants to industry level.

Tim Brierley, managing partner and creative director, Grey Health Group has taken on the two ex-participants on a paid freelance basis after the organisers of The Portfolio Project contacted Brierley and submitted folios.

With an exubarant “I am on board, great initiative” the pair will soon to start their careers in the creative industries. They will work for the agency to create storyboards and illustrative concepts.

To top it off Themify legendary drag and drop WordPress Theme (template makers) have got behind The Portfolio Project, endorsing the group to create their own version of Themify’s theme “Landing Page” with all profits of purchases going to the young creatives from the program.

The theme was named after a gorgeous nurse who works with people with disability “Esther”.

The theme is geared towards freelance illustrators, animators and general freelance creatives and is already available on ThemeSnap and has been approved by Creative Market, an industry creative resource stores which the founder of WordPress Matt Mullenweg is a major investor in and the company is owned by AutoDesk, the creators of AutoCad.
