LMB133045_01.jpgLamb, ‘what everyone’s eating this season?’ is the smouldering new star of the show with the launch of Meat & Livestock Australia’s latest campaign via BMF Sydney, designed to get people in the mood for Lamb this spring.

Spearheaded by a cheeky television commercial, the campaign is a parody on fashion advertising – and is a visually alluring way of reminding consumers that spring is the season to enjoy juicy, tender, tasty lamb.

“Spring is a great time of the year for lamb as we all know, it?s alsoa great time for fashion. Bringing the two together has given us theopportunity to have fun, be irreverent and celebrate a couple of thingsthat we love about spring”, says Warren Brown, executive creativedirector at BMF.

Opening with a highly-stylised Spring inspired catwalk, the commercialbegins with a model wearing a ‘Yummi Lambaguchi’ rosemary andgarlic-bulb inspired dress, sashaying her way towards the camera asdesigner and fashion commentator, Henry Roth, announces “so let’s get ataste of Spring Glamb”.

This sets the scene for the rest of the commercial which showcases’leggy’ models on the catwalk garnished with dresses from designerssuch as ‘Carva Lambpattie’, ‘Cutlet Dinneragain’ and ‘Valambtino’.

In addition to the TV commercial, advertising for the new campaign willbe featured in high readership food and lifestyle magazines as well asin selected shopping centres and online. Point-of-sale material forretailers and extensive public-relations activities also form part ofthis campaign.
