Gatecrasher Perth’s Cancer Council push shows how smokers are seen by people close to them
New research commissioned by Cancer Council WA has revealed that now, more than ever before, smokers are trying to hide their addiction from family, friends and workmates.
Gatecrasher, Perth has created a new tvc to tap into the emotions that smokers feel about their concealment and the effect this type of behaviour can have on others.

I’m a smoker… worked for me. I’m always having to hide my smoking from my kids and wife. They know I smoke so I’m not sure why I hide, but this touched a nerve for me.
how refreshing to see an ad posted and not have twenty posts off approval from the agencies employees..
good ad…might have been better if it wasnt overplayed with the kid looking through the window.
but great insight well executed nonetheless.
well done.
Why does this great ad have only 2 comments and Optus 67 when it’s clearly not that good?
