Gabberish #14: The Trust Issue

Guest edited by Joy creative heads Ben Pearce and Dan O’Bey , the fourteenth issue of Gabberish, creative therapy for creative minds, is out today.

This issue explores Trust, and features interviews from creative leaders in the UK and Australia: Wes Hawes, ECD of CHE Proximity Sydney, Jo Arscott, iconic black female UK CD and Matt Chandler, deputy ECD of DDB Sydney.

The issue also includes amusing poetry from an anonymous copywriter whose words have been interfered with too many times, contributions from awesome audio folk, Rupert Degas and Dan Higson, plus illustrations from talented AWARD school graduates, Lauren Maneschi and Nicolai Henrikson. There is also a 2d version of whack-a-mole to help agency people work through their trust issues.

This is the second issue of Gabberish to have been created by guest editors, with more issues due to roll out featuring editors from across the industry over the next twelve months.

Says Siobhan Fitzgerald, Gabberish founder and associate creative director at M&C Saatchi: “I trusted Ben and Dan to get it out in October. Thank goodness their contributors were so good.”

Says Pearce and O’Bey: “Trust is at the cornerstone of what we do as a business. As creative people we demand trust from each other and from our clients. Siobhan trusted us with this issue and we have been fascinated by the perspectives from our diverse range of contributors. The fact that we went over deadline fills us with awe for what Siobhan and Jess achieved in the first twelve issues (on time).”
