The AFL, with Truce Films, has launched its 2023 AFL Finals campaign “8 Stories. 1 Ending” featuring a number of legends that made their mark on the September stage.
Wanganeen. Selwood. McLeod. Barry. Goddard. Daicos.
Set in the future and reflecting back on the 2023 Finals Series, the piece suggests the multiple stories that can transpire over the next month of footy.
Says Jonathon Bernard, creative and innovation director at the AFL: “As a fan, your senses are in overdrive when in attendance at a Finals match. You want to run through a brick wall, scream for your heroes and throw up your meat pie, all at the same time. It’s a rollercoaster of emotion and we aimed to showcase that ride in this year’s campaign. A campaign supported by A-Grade AFL talent that know a thing or two about the stories that September can bring.”
The AFL worked with director Bill Irving and Truce Films to deliver its second campaign this season.
The campaign will be supported by TV, out-of-home, print, radio, digital and social that integrates fan and player imagery.
