Filmgraphics director Lorcan Finnegan’s film ‘Vivarium’ has been released in Australia.

Starring Imogen Poots and Jesse Eisenberg, it premiered at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival and has been described by The Hollywood Reporter as “a nerve-jangling finely crafted thriller”.

Hoping to find the perfect place to live, a couple travel to a suburban neighbourhood in which all the houses look identical. But when they try to leave the labyrinth-like development, each road mysteriously takes them back to where they started, and they are trapped in a suburban twilight zone.

Likened to ‘Black Mirror’, ‘Vivarium’ is a smart, delightfully strange film with captivating performances that will have you on the edge of your seat.

Lorcan is represented by Filmgraphics in Australia/NZ, and directed the NIB “How It Should Be” campaign via Saatchi & Saatchi Sydney.

Says Anna Fawcett, EP, Filmgraphics: “I flew to Melbourne to see ‘Vivarium’ at the Melbourne International Film Festival. I loved it. It combines his distinctive humour with a dark subject. Lorcan is unique. Happy he is back working on commercials, even if it’s remotely for the time being.”

Vivarium is now streaming on Google Play, Apple TV and Foxtel on Demand.
