FOR ADAM LANG
If your Ray Hadley wishes to treat Queenslanders with contempt as he did on his Football show,(11.04.2015) with a former 4BC presenter who was terminated yesterday, your ratings in Queensland are doomed before you start. This presenter said she was upset that she could say goodbye to her listeners, to which Ray Hadley responded today by saying “I checked the ratings last night and she could probably phone them personally, it wouldn’t take long”. He may think Queenslanders are a bunch of backward hillbillys and only worthy of being treated with contempt but he also needs to remember that listeners are responsible for ratings. Over many years our house radio and the car radio have always been tuned to 4BC, however this is about to change, the arrogance of both Alan Jones and Ray Hadley is too much.
Yours sincerely

All of us retrenched from 4BC were told it had that it was purely a “business decision” nothing to do with our skill, professionalism or conduct. Yet when I asked if I could possibly be used as a freelancer in the future, I was told that I couldn’t be hired for 2 years, due to “legalities”. We certainly weren’t paid 2 years redundancy and I found out a former employee who quit 6 months ago, was rehired?? How does that work?
Someone who quits can be re-hired, loyal staffers who have the rug pulled out from under them get even further punishment…
