Entropico launches new global experiential arm

Creative company Entropico has announced the launch of its experiential division – an arm dedicated to its innovative storytelling practice across virtual production, post-heavy film workflow and motion-led digital dev projects.

Spearheaded by Entropico US chief creative officer, Joey Hunter, Entropico Experiential responds to briefs with bespoke creative teams for each unique project, pulling from their diverse in-house team and extensive specialist freelance network.

These project teams span film directors, motion designers, Unreal Engine artists, creative technologists, XR producers, longform show runners, digital designers, web devs, immersive experts – and everything in between – and are supported by strong partnerships with LED volume stages for virtual production projects.

Says Hunter: “In the past few years, virtual production has made massive leaps in elevating what’s possible in live action shoots. Shooting in an LED volume studio, combined with realtime Unreal Engine environments creates a dynamic world for characters or brand products, and the technology is advancing so quickly that there are new creative possibilities in the space every month. The whole team can see the creative vision for the post production in real-time on the shoot day, making VFX-heavy shoots a completely different experience. Any environment is possible, so you don’t need to worry about challenging location logistics, the weather, or even gravity.

“We have always paired our storytelling skills with our passion for new technologies and innovation. But it’s exciting to formalise our creative practice with this new experiential arm.”

YouTube Game On, a 2-hour livestream experience to celebrate the diversity of YouTube’s rich gaming culture. Foster the global gaming community and reward the creators who make YouTube, YouTube. Leading agencies including Buck, Never Sit Still, Click, Bulldog and Hovercast, Entropico created the visual identity and marketing campaign, collaborated with YouTube Creators on original content, produced new games, and blended all of these elements together to create a truly interactive online event.
