Entries now open for the 2026 AADC Awards; On-time entries close Friday 31 July 2026

Entries are now officially open for the 2026 AADC Awards, celebrating the best of South Australia’s advertising and design industry.

Now in its 49th year, the annual AADC Awards recognise and promote outstanding creative work from professionals and students across the state. The Awards continue to champion the highest possible creative standards, highlighting work that inspires, sparks conversations and competes on the national and global stage.

Says Sarah Luthaus, Co-President, AADC: “Each year, the AADC Awards provide an opportunity to celebrate the depth, talent and ambition of South Australia’s commercial communications industry. Our Awards have long been recognised for their high standards, with judges only rewarding work that truly stands apart. That’s why an AADC Award carries weight.”

Eligible work must have been produced and published between 1 January 2025 and 30 June 2026, with entrants invited to submit across more than 90 sub-categories within five major categories: Advertising, Design, Craft, For Good and Student.

For the first time, AI-assisted work will be officially eligible for entry, with AADC emphasising that judges will be assessing the quality of the work and the human creativity behind it.

On-time entries close Friday 31 July 2026 at 11:59pm.

Says Corey Swaffer, Co-President, AADC: “The AADC Awards is the most exciting night on our calendar. It’s our Oscars. Even if you’re not the one up on stage, it’s exciting to see the people and work pushing South Australia’s advertising and design industry forward. And if you are up on stage, well, you know that you and your team have achieved something special.”

The 2026 AADC Awards Night will take place on Thursday 22 October 2026, bringing together South Australia’s creative community to recognise and celebrate the industry’s very best work.
