Entries now open for the 2023 AICP Awards

Entries are now being accepted for the 2023 AICP Awards – encompassing the AICP Show: The Art & Technique of the Commercial, The AICP Next Awards, and The AICP Post Awards.

Established in 1992, The AICP Show is one of the most important advertising showcases in the world that’s dedicated to excellence in craft. The AICP Next Awards recognize outstanding work and the creative forces behind it but are much more than an Awards competition – it is a platform for thought leadership and analysis. The AICP Post Awards, which debuted in 2001, honours excellence in a wide range of post-production crafts and disciplines.

Recently, the AICP has extended its reach internationally, recruiting committee members and jury participants worldwide.

A solid team from New Zealand and Australia who are passionate about craft and ready to show the international advertising industry the ground-breaking work taking place on these shores are participating this year.

The committee includes:

Karla Henwood, Squeak E Clean Studios

Lea Walker, Mrs Walker

Loren Bradley, FINCH

Matt Noonan, Curious Films

Nigel Mortimer, Blockhead

Rachael Ford-Davies, Collider

With a focus on everything from concept to editing to sound, this is an opportunity to celebrate all levels of the craft that goes into commercial filmmaking and for Australasian artists and companies to showcase their talents.

The AICP Awards will premiere on June 8 at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. AICP Awards Honourees are preserved in The Museum of Modern Art’s Department of Film’s state of the art archives for future generations to study, and are available for use or exhibition by the museum’s curators.

All individual works and each year’s shows in their entirety can be viewed exclusively here, the AICP Awards Archive website, while winners of the AICP Post winners can be viewed here.
