Elders Insurance and The Core Agency highlight genuine human service in the digital world
Independent creative agency, The Core Agency, has launched its latest campaign for long standing client, Elders Insurance, building on the brand’s core idea, ‘Our way never gets old’.
The new campaign of TVCs, press and digital went live yesterday and, like previous campaigns, uses real Elders Insurance agents in the stories. It features two very different, yet contemporary, small business owners – a farmer and a microbrewer – who have adopted the latest technology to help run their operations. The stories highlight how much they value the ‘human’ partnership of their local Elders Insurance agent in our fast-changing digital world.
Says Jon Skinner, founder and creative partner at The Core Agency: “These films make the simple point that technology is great, but smart humans are irreplaceable. When we spoke to SMEs in the development of this campaign it became clear just how much Elders Insurance customers value their local agent partnership as a critical part of their business.”
Says Sara Foale, chief marketing officer at QBE Insurance Group: “Elders Insurance helps protect a huge diversity of SME businesses right across Australia. Our new campaign captures the truth that however reliant a business is in new technology the role of genuine human customer service has never been more important.”
Elders Insurance is one of Australia’s largest regional and rural insurance providers, with over 100 years of experience. The Elders Insurance model is different to most traditional insurers in that it has owner-agents who live and work in their local communities. Its products include business insurance, farm insurance, personal insurance, plus fleet and commercial motor insurance.

The cut to the elders guy talking at the same time as the male v/o is confusing.
It looks and sounds like a bad case of ‘out of sync’
So I found myself trying to figure out who was saying what, rather than listening to what was being said.
A simple RE-edit should fix
Just a suggestion.
agreed, makes the ADR seem very super obvious…also, guessing this is a dumb ‘client insisted’ thing, the dialogue is SO loud compared to the sound design and music mix there’s no story when you forget emotion is just as important as ‘message’
Nice strat on this. There’s an acceptance and even embrace, of tech as a way to make things more efficient on the land. But doing away with personal connection and conversation isn’t something we’re too keen on.
