Countdown to Effies ‘The Work Behind The Work’ in Sydney on Wed Nov 15 + Melbourne Tues Nov 21
Come behind the scenes of 2023’s most effective advertising campaigns when Advertising Council Australia and ThinkTV present Effies ‘The Work Behind The Work’ on Wednesday 15 November in Sydney and Tuesday 21 November in Melbourne.
Hosted by ACA CEO Tony Hale and ThinkTV CEO Kim Portrate, the two events will bring marketers and agency teams together to unpack the strategy and creative process behind award-winning Effie campaigns from the past year.
Work from Saatchi & Saatchi for Arnott’s, BMF-Australia for Tourism Tasmania and M&C Saatchi for BIG W will feature at the Sydney event while Saatchi & Saatchi will feature at Melbourne’s alongside ‘Flipvertising’ by CHEP Network (for Samsung) and ‘First Digital Nation’ by The Monkeys (for the Government of Tuvalu).
At the recent 2023 Australian Effie Awards, Saatchi & Saatchi, part of The Neighbourhood, was awarded The Grand Effie for its entry ‘How little moments made big bickies for Arnott’s’ and CHEP Network was named Effective Agency of the Year.
Effies Gold was awarded to BMF Australia for its ‘Offseason’ campaign for Tourism Tasmania and M&C Saatchi for ‘Every day’s a big day’ for Big W. The Monkeys were awarded the new Colin Wilson-Brown Chairman’s Award for the agency’s First Digital Nation entry ‘How can a country exist without land?’
