Effies ‘The Work Behind The Work’ pulls a sell-out crowd in Sydney – Melb event set for Tues Nov 21
Last night, a crowd of over 100 ad industry professionals came together at Publicis Groupe in Sydney to get the inside scoop on the strategy and creative process behind the year’s most effective ad campaigns.
Hosted by Kim Portrate, CEO of ThinkTV and Tony Hale, CEO of Advertising Council Australia, the annual ‘The Work Behind The Work’ event gives agencies and marketers a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into winning a prestigious Effie Award – a recognised mark of advertising effectiveness across the APAC region.
Ranita Cowled, business director at Arnott’s Group, Toby Aldred, GM Saatchi & Saatchi and chief client officer at The Neighbourhood, Sabrina Douglas, marketing lead at Big W and Hannah McHard, head of effectiveness at BMF Australia were among the stellar lineup of speakers who shared their secrets to the impact and ROI behind campaigns such as Saatchi & Saatchi’s ‘Little Moments’ for Arnott’s, BMF Australia’s ‘Off Season’ campaign for Tourism Tasmania and M&C Saatchi’s “Everyday’s a big day’ campaign for BIG W – which took out some of top accolades at this year’s Effie Awards.
