Director Bianca Poletti joins MOFA

Director Bianca Poletti has joined MOFA’s growing roster in Australia and New Zealand. Her work features emotionally rich character stories, set amongst vividly designed worlds.

As a narrative director, Poletti utilises her passion for exploring the many different facets of the human psyche, focusing on imperfect characters and coming-of-age stories. Her youthful films exist in dreamlike worlds full of ethereal lighting, colour and elements of nostalgia. Fashion, architecture and vivid production design play a large part in how Bianca builds these worlds.

Poletti’s impressive momentum has seen her direct numerous commercials, short films, and music videos all over the globe. Her short film RADICAL HONESTY premiered at SXSW 2022, then had its online premiere with Vimeo Staff Pick, Directors Library, Directors Notes, and Short of the Week, as well as winning a GOLD at CICLOPE 2022.
