Deuce Film Productions launches in Sydney

Last week saw the rise of newly formed Sydney based film production company – Deuce Film Productions.

A creative collaboration former agency producer / automotive lifestyle photographer – Petros Ktenas (left), now director / executive producer of the creative duo and his long term DOP partner Casimir Dickson (right).

With over 30 years combined film, TV and advertising production experience, the pair have set their sights on developing an APAC regional approach to advertising motion, film and TV productions. With a network of trusted production suppliers across Asia and at home, they plan to address the immediate problem that a lot of advertisers have in generating cinematic quality high-end commercials with a multidisciplinary integrated approach, on a sustainable cost effective budget.

Says Ktenas: “We looked at what others were doing and said to our selves – we can do this more efficiently, cut out the fat, still make the same for ourselves and pass on the cost benefits to the client by working smarter in a smaller team environment.”

The duo are set to launch some great film / TV productions domestically and internationally – linking writers, screen producers other directors through this creative vehicle Deuce Film Productions, getting more stories told and made efficiently.

Adds Ktenas: “As a production duo, we wear a lot of hats to get things done, that’s just efficiency at play – but most importantly we want to have have fun doing what we love, which is telling stories in a cinematic fashion. Commercial, narrative, documentary films – they are all beautiful ways for us to communicate and they should be shared”.
