Destination NSW and The NSW Rail Museum launches new campaign via All About Content

Take a step back in time at the NSW Rail Museum, located in scenic Thirlmere, a mere 1-hour drive from Sydney, where majestic steam trains rule the railways. A new campaign developed by All About Content, will run from 3 – 17 April in the Sydney metro market, encouraging families with young children to visit this growing attraction in Sydney’s south-west.

 

Filmed on location at the NSW Rail Museum and produced by John Dion at All About Content the campaign features 30 second TVCs aimed at highlighting the steam train experience and showcase how a day trip over the Easter school holidays can become a portal to another era.

Says Dion: “We wanted to capture every sound, whistle, steam blowing and engine rolling so we could transport people into the magical world of the steam train.”

Transport Heritage NSW head of engagement, David Bennett said the campaign was created with the support of Destination NSW to allow the NSW Rail Museum to inspire and excite a new generation of rail enthusiasts: “The campaign creative truly captures the excitement and authenticity visitors love about the NSW Rail Museum and its steam train experiences.”

Campaign director, Gareth Carr said capturing the magic and fascination of the huge machines was critical to the campaign: “We wanted to show the fun and engagement involved when visiting by capturing the family and young boy in a number of fun situations.”

With a distinguished design and a touch of whimsical charm the magic of the steam engine is set take everyone on a step back in time these school holidays.
