Dentsu Creative promotes Zac Pritchard to Executive Creative Director

Dentsu Creative has promoted Zac Pritchard to Executive Creative Director.

Pritchard joined Dentsu Creative in April 2024 as Creative Director, quickly rising to Group Creative Director and now ECD.

Pritchard’s promotion comes during a period of significant change for Dentsu Creative ANZ. The agency’s previous Chief Creative Officer, Ben Coulson, departed in May 2025. Following his departure, Dentsu Creative NZ co-CCO Brett Colliver took over leadership of creative across both Australia and New Zealand.

After graduating from Charles Sturt University in 2011, Pritchard began his career as a copywriter at The Boiler Room, before taking on roles at Australian Radio Network and Gorilla Communications. He joined BWM Dentsu in 2014, where he spent two and a half years before moving to Havas.

Following 18 months at Havas, Pritchard joined CHE Proximity Sydney, where he co-created the award-winning Velocity Frequent Flyer ‘#Earnbassadors’ campaign.

In 2018, Pritchard moved to the US, where he spent six years at leading agencies including mcgarrybowen New York, Energy BBDO New York and AKQA New York, before returning home to join Dentsu Creative.

Pritchard has worked across some of the world’s biggest brands and has been recognised at every major international award show including Cannes Lion, The One Show, D&AD, LIAs, Clio, Spikes, AWARD and more.
