DDB takes out the Asia-Pacific Network of the Year crown at Campaign Brief’s The Work 2020: Ogilvy ranked #2, Leo Burnett at #3 and TBWA at #4

DDB has taken out the Asia-Pacific Network of the Year accolade at Campaign Brief’s THE WORK 2020. With 75 acceptances DDB narrowly edged out Ogilvy, with 73 acceptances, for the top network honour.

 

DDB’s #1 network ranking in Campaign Brief’s THE WORK 2020 was spearheaded by New Zealand creative powerhouse DDB in Auckland and rising network star Petch & Partners Philippines. DDB in Sydney, Malaysia and Vietnam and DDB Tribal Philippines also made valuable contributions to their win.

Ogilvy scored just 2 acceptances less than DDB with APAC Agency of the Year Ogilvy Group Thailand leading the way with 32 Acceptances. Ogilvy Australia also starred with 18 acceptances. Also making valuable contributions to their #2 Network ranking were Ogilvy Taiwan (9) and Geometry Ogilvy Japan (8).

#3 in the Network of the Year table is Leo Burnett with 61 acceptances. Leo Burnett Australia and Leo Burnett Taiwan made the largest contributions with 18 and 16 acceptances respectively. Leo Burnett Australia was the equal #1 in Australia and Leo Burnett Taiwan was a clear #1 in Taiwan. Leo Burnett agencies in Thailand, Malaysia and Hong Kong also made significant contributions to their #3 ranking.

TBWA ranks #4 in the Network of the Year table with 53 acceptances. TBWA Melbourne was their leading contributor with 15 acceptances, and TBWA Thailand and TBWA Hong Kong also standing out with 12 and 11 acceptances respectively. TBWA agencies in Sri Lanka, Singapore and Sydney also made valuable contributions.

Dentsu’s overall #5 ranking is once again lead by their top creative performer Dentsu Jayme Syfu Philippines who contributed 13 acceptances to their tally of 39. Taiwan again performed exceptionally well with Dentsu Taiwan scoring 8 acceptances and Dentsu One Taiwan with 4. BWM Dentsu Melbourne, Dentsu One Bangkok, BC&F Dentsu New Zealand and mcgarrybowen Hong Kong also contributed.

At #6 in the Network of the Year rankings is Grey Worldwide with 32 acceptances. Grey’s performance is lead by GREYnJ United Bangkok, one of the region’s most respected creative agencies, with 17 acceptances. Grey Malaysia also put in a standout performance with 10 acceptances. WhiteGrey in Australia also contributed.
