DARKHORSE welcomes Veuve Clicquot and appoints new experiential and creative directors

After a highly competitive pitch, brand experience agency DARKHORSE has been appointed to lead Veuve Clicquot’s next Australian experience.

Veuve Clicquot joins Jaguar Land Rover and Sephora on a roster that reflects DARKHORSE’s position as the experience agency of choice for brands that set the standard in their categories.

At the same time, Sydney-based Maxine Reed joins DARKHORSE as Experiential Director after four-years at Havas Red where she led the Brand Experience team across clients including Lexus, Toyota, L’Oreal, Netflix, Tourism Tasmania and AppleTV+. Prior to this, she spent five years at Amazon in events and marketing roles across Amazon Advertising, AWS and Retail.

Auckland based Olivia Muir joins DARKHORSE as Experiential Director, following three years at Mango Communications (now FleishmanHillard) working on clients including McDonald’s and New Balance. Prior to this, she worked across sponsorship and brand experience for the nationwide network and brand rollout of 5G at telecommunications giant Spark.

Creative Director Elizabeth O’Leary has also joined the DARKHORSE team in Singapore. Prior to DARKHORSE, O’Leary was involved in the creative development of large-scale brand experiences across the Middle East, working across automotive, cultural and lifestyle projects. Her expertise in experiential storytelling, creative direction and multidisciplinary collaboration at Avantgarde MENA further strengthens DARKHORSE’s growing creative team.

Their appointments add to an already formidable APAC team that has been delivering award-winning work across New Zealand, Australia, Singapore and Dubai.

Says Mike Hewitt, Founder and CEO, DARKHORSE: “DARKHORSE has become the brand experience agency iconic brands continue to choose across APAC. Our new partnership with Veuve Clicquot, and the appointments of Maxine, Olivia and Elizabeth are all moments to celebrate. We’ve seen fantastic growth throughout the region and our team is set to continue the great work we’ve built a reputation on delivering.”
