Award winning content and social agency Daresay is starting the new financial year with two new business wins after being appointed by Tata Consumer Products and NSW Government’s Department of Education, both following competitive pitches.

Daresay, sister agency to The Works, part of Capgemini, has been named as the social agency of record by Tata Consumer Products for its Good Earth Teas as it launches the new range of herbal teas across social media. Daresay beat out four other agencies to secure the business.

Says Micaela Pinkerton, senior brand manager at Tata Consumer Products: “Daresay really understand the brand and how we want to bring it to life in this market. Their social media and content credentials, combined with their experience within the FMCG space makes them a great partner for us and this important brand launch.”

New South Wales Department of Education has appointed Daresay for its Vocational Education and Training (VET) program. The agency will produce a video content series to demonstrate how vocational education and training can lead to a dream career and financial stability.

Says Eduardo Carvallo Carrera, senior marketing and social media project officer, Department of Education: “Daresay’s response stood out as one that will resonate with our audience and we’re looking forward to seeing it come to life. Daresay’s experience of working in the government and education space and their understanding on how to best engage our target audience was also a positive.”

Says Will Allen, managing partner at Daresay: “We welcome the Good Earth Tea brand to the agency and can’t wait to help launch it in Australia. I’m also pleased that our relationship with the Department of Education continues to grow and we have the opportunity to flex our creative smarts once again to highlight the benefits of the VET program.”

Allen, a former managing partner at One Green Bean, has joined Daresay while Ruth Haffenden is on maternity leave. He has also worked at We Are Social in the UK on brands including Adidas, Audi, Samsung Europe and Beats by Dre Europe.

Daresay, which for the past two years has been named AdNews Content Agency of the Year, works with clients including Business Australia, Westpac, Masterpet and Goodman Fielder. Its team of strategists, editors, producers, and social media experts provide end-to-end content marketing strategy, production and amplification services to clients across B2C and B2B.
