Pedigree makes adopted dog part of the family with Adoption Drive blitz via Clemenger BBDO
To support the Pedigree Adoption Drive initiative, Clemenger BBDO Melbourne has created a campaign to encourage people with adopted dogs to show the rest of the world that adopted dogs make great family members.
The agency worked with The Sticker Family to design a custom ‘My Family’ sticker for people to display on their cars. It shows a spotty dog in the distinctive Pedigree yellow and aims to get people to place their adopted dog on display beside other family members in an effort to ‘normalise’ dog adoption and encourage more people to rescue, rather than buy, their next pet.
The campaign was created after research showed that whilst 70 percent of dog owners think adopting a dog is a good idea, only 11 percent actually go on to source their pets from rescue organisations. Of those who did adopt a dog, 85 percent said they would consider adopting another dog in the future because it had been such a positive experience.
Free Pedigree Adoption Drive stickers will be available at IGA super-stores, at Coles Online, within Woolworths Fresh Magazine, and by request via pedigreeadoptiondrive.com.au

Seriously, you PR this???
Maybe he doesn’t like the dog she adopted?
A nifty use of this most annoying, daggy and middle-class car decoration. But how will anyone know it’s got anything to do with Pedigree? From the colour, you say? That’s the very definition of optimism.
Cheap, charming and very, very clever.
Tiger Woods?
Craze has finished? Maybe.
Not particularly well branded? Probably right.
