CB Poll: Chipotle ‘Back to the Start’ won the 2012 Cannes Film Grand Prix – but did it deserve to?
It’s nearly a week after the end of the Cannes International Festival of Creativity, you’ve had time to mull over the winners, so do you agree with the judges that Chipotle ‘Back to the Start’, via CAA Los Angeles, was worthy of the Cannes Film Grand Prix?
Or do you think it should have gone to The Guardian ‘Three Little Pigs’ from BBH London?
Or Canal+ ‘The Bear’ via our French friends at BETC Paris?
Or what about the hilarious BGH Air Conditioners ‘Dads in Briefs’ via Del Campo Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi Buenos Aires?
Or Doritos ‘Dips Desperado’ via AMV BBDO London, directed by Australia’s The Glue Society?
Or none of the above (nominate your own Grand Prix choice).

They’re both shit
little pigs ,brilliant. Has anyone noticed how the quality of Apple tvcs has dropped since the death of style guru,Steve Jobs.
The Chipotle ad isn’t only fucking boring, it’s not ground breaking – nor is it even true.
One trip to their website will see use of the words ‘WHERE POSSIBLE we use and source organic blah blah.
So basically, you’re still eating processed pig’s tongues but 20% of the pork might be from a local farm.
Oh, and the owner once sold a massive share of the company to McDonalds – which, quite unlike his ‘I’m the organic god’ persona shows that he’d sell his soul to the devil if the price was right.
McDonalds may no longer be a part of the company, but they would have grown the operation, and the only way you can grow and make money with fast food in the states is through processed shit.
Fuck em.
Should have gone to the Guardian.
Chipotle is brilliant – a worthy winner.
