Australian smart home innovator has been a pioneer in air conditioning for more than 35 years, delivering Australian-made smart home technology and “super smart air conditioning” to over 150,000 Aussie homes. As the NRL club’s Principal Partner, MyPlace is delivering another unforgettable TV and digital campaign, working with creative agency Braincells, that leans into on field humour to engage audiences across the country.

MyPlace Group General Manager, Darren Bee, said getting the golden trio back to star in the new campaign, was a creative way to showcase the benefits of MyPlaceIQ Air: “Our first two campaigns with the Panthers players generated a fantastic response. By playing into events that fans would be familiar with on the field, we can have some fun while showing Australians how our systems can make their air-conditioning and energy use smarter.

“We know all households are looking at ways to bring down their energy bills, while also maintaining comfort in their homes. This campaign utilises the Panthers recognisable brand and personalities to showcase how MyPlaceIQ Air combines room-by-room zoning with smart IQ technology to help reduce energy costs by taking advantage of excess solar energy and eligible free electricity periods.”

The campaign will run from August 2026 across free to air networks, BVOD, radio, online and outdoor locations in key markets across the East Coast.

Says Bee: “Connecting with Australians through sport is a key driver for us. We want viewers to smile and have a laugh when our adverts come on the TV or pop up on your phone, while also discovering how our systems can help bring their energy bills closer to zero.

“We aim to boost brand equity and awareness in key East Coast markets. Partnering with the Panthers for the past three seasons has seen successful brand growth and we are excited for this new campaign to continue that work.”

MyPlaceIQ Air combines smart room-by-room zoning and temperature control with IQ energy-saving technology, helping households make better use of available solar energy and eligible free electricity periods, reducing household energy bills by up to $617 a year. The system forms part of the broader MyPlaceIQ ecosystem, which aims to intelligently manage some of the home’s biggest energy users.
