Scentre Group’s Brandspace has today announced the national upgrade of its SmartScreens and SuperScreens, a significant enhancement of the network delivering the cutting-edge technology required for advertising partners’ future-forward campaigns.
Commencing in New South Wales in August, upgrades of over 1300 SmartScreens and 4 SuperScreens have followed in all states and are expected to be completed by mid-January 2023.
The network has been upgraded with Generation 4 technology resulting in:
10x faster Central Processing Units (CPU)
4x more powerful Graphics Processing Units (GPU)
2.5x increase in memory power
4x larger hard drives
Network upgrades ensure campaigns that require integrations such as dynamic content, audience targeting and verification for programmatic buys are accommodated for. It will also provide the capability to roll out more creative per campaign and future-proof the network to feature 4K creative as needed.

Unused parts from the existing screens will be deconstructed and responsibility disposed of via either e-waste, glass recyclers or metal recyclers. A Sustainability Statement on weights and quantities will also be issued at the conclusion of the project.
