haarper., formerly known as VTWO, has launched in Melbourne as an agency which exists to provide an extraordinary experience. Resting on the four pillars of branding, strategy, design and distribution, haarper. builds brands through creative thinking and strategic insights, that speak to the consumer of today.
Founded by Dan Wilkins, marketing pundit and previous director of VTWO, Wilkins took all the best elements from his thirteen years of client-focused experience to build a team who pride themselves on working in collaboration with their clients, and as a true extension of their marketing divisions. With the sole focus: to drive business results through strategic creativity.
Says Wilkins: “After working with the VTWO team for four years, I felt there was a space for an agency to be created that is a reflection of the people and brands we work with. We love to get our hands dirty, and jump in with our partners to really understand, then help solve, the problems they have.”
In 2018 Wilkins joined the ‘PukaUp Grand Tour’ and rode from Sydney to Melbourne with project partner ‘PukaUp’ to raise awareness and create conversations around mental health.
Says Wilkins: “It was a life changing experience for me. How could we push a message we didn’t understand? There was not a chance I was missing that opportunity to learn more.”
The team comprises of Ryan Impey who heads up the design division; Nick Katsonis, alumni of the Drapac Cycling Team’s holistic program, who focuses on strategy and engagement; Kristen Gallagher who brings over 13 years experience in client service to head up group accounts; and Wilkins who oversees the day to day operations and leads the client strategy division.
Says Wilkins: “The team here are thinkers, we’re an eclectic bunch, and all about looking at how to better our approach and better our work. Everything we’ve done for our clients, at its core, we’ve done for ourselves too.”
With the ability to create a brand from scratch, rebrand a business, build a website or even create, record, launch and edit a podcast, haarper can make it happen.
Adds Wilkins: “Change is an exciting thing, and this rebrand is the start of an incredible new phase. We look forward to continuing our partnerships and are enthused to bring on new project partners to our team.”
With some exciting new partners to announce in the coming weeks, a snapshot of brand partners includes Athletics Victoria, Racing.com, Swimming Australia, Citywide & RACV.
