Bestads Best TV of the Week: Visit Turku Archipelago’s ‘Get a Nose Job in Saaristo’ via United Imaginations Helsinki
Each week Bestadsontv.com [the global arm of Campaign Brief] showcases standout global advertising work as reviewed by a top international creative director or team. This week’s best film is Visit Turku Archipelago’s ‘Get a Nose Job in Saaristo’ via United Imaginations Helsinki.
The film was selected by this week’s guest judge Helio Maffia, Creative Director, BBDO, New York.
Says Maffia: “‘The best-smelling place in the world.’ What a nice claim for a travel destination. We’re so used to seeing places talk about how beautiful they are, how amazing the food is, and blah blah blah. This one feels like a breath of fresh air. Literally. Great humor, beautifully shot, and just the right amount of dumb jokes. Loved it.”
Breakfast has unveiled its latest campaign, created by United Imaginations, turning one of the archipelago’s most overlooked qualities; how it smells, into a rather unusual recruitment mission. Shot on location in Finland’s Turku Archipelago and directed by Breakfast’s Jan Sederlöf, the film stars Lambert Wilson as a serious recruiter on an international search for someone with an exceptional sense of smell.
