BBH London promotes Aussie expat Psembi Kinstan to the role of creative director on Audi UK

BBH London has promoted Aussie expat Psembi Kinstan to the role of creative director, further strengthening the agency’s creative team.

Psembi began his career at CHE Melbourne and GPY&R and has won at Cannes for five consecutive years on a variety of clients including the Royal British Legion, Australian Defence Force Recruiting, Oxfam UK, Made by Dyslexia, the BBC and M&S.

Kinstan will run the Audi UK account, BBH’s founding client in 1982 and its most awarded ever since. The account was previously led by CCO Ian Heartfield. Last year the account produced the Cannes gold awarded Audi ‘Clowns’ and ‘Escape’ campaigns.

Psembi first joined BBH as an associate creative director in 2017, after several years as a creative director at Y&R London where he created the award-winning M&S ‘Mrs Claus’ campaign that received over 90 million organic views as well as the BBC Winter and Summer Olympics campaigns that received 60 million views between them. At Y&R he was also the first advertising creative to write a Chanel No. 5 commercial.

Since moving to BBH he helped successfully lead both the global Western Union pitch, one of the Publicis Groupe’s largest wins of 2018, and the £30M Barclays UK pitch which was retained last week by BBH.

Says Kinstan: “Audi. At BBH. I’m thrilled… but I better not fuck this up.”
