Australian-first client and agency relationship mentoring program ‘Legends & Leaders’ launches

More than 90 of Australia’s best industry experts have joined the Legends & Leaders program, including Adam Ferrier, Malcolm Auld, Phil Hayden, Ian Alwill, Colin Wilson-Brown, Jane Caro, Mike Beckerleg and Tom Moult.

Legends & Leaders is a brand new program in the Australian market that is tailored for individual client marketing teams with a unique group of industry legends and leaders offering insights and experience to help ensure companies get better value out of their agencies across all disciplines.

The program offers 20 modules built around individual disciplines including digital, innovation, finance, DM/data, strategy/planning, inter-agency relationships, media, public relations, research, account management, creative and shopper marketing.

Says Nixon: “A recent survey of CMOs and CEOs conducted by AMR for The Communications Council and the Media Federation of Australia found that both clients and agencies see ‘business integrity’ and ‘leadership’ as key drivers for their business, but there is much room for improvement.


“This was one of the catalysts for the Legends & Leaders concept. Marketers simply don’t have access to structured, independent, customised mentoring and advice that can really make a difference to their business.

“The goal is to create teams that are united, engaged, enthused and firing.”

The program allows marketing teams to choose any number of modules and then select a mentor within each module.
