The winners of the 23rd Annual Webby Awards have been announced with a major haul from Australia with 10 Webby Winners and three People’s Voice Awards.

 

BWM Dentsu Sydney has scored two Webby wins for The ALS Association ‘Project Revoice’ in the Advertising, Media & PR – Best Use of Machine Learning category and Social – Experimental & Innovation category.

Marcel Sydney and Good Company is the Webby for Good Winner in the Video – Corporate Social Responsibility category for Tiger ‘Rare Stripes’.

Marcel Sydney and M Booth’s Tinder ‘#RepresentLove’ campaign is the Webby Winner in the Best Social Community Building and Engagement category.

We Are Social Sydney has scored one Webby Winner and a People’s Voice Awards for Netflix ‘Calling All Will Smith’s’ in the Social – Promotions & Contests category.

Agencies scoring one Webby win each include VMLY&R Sydney for Alexa Lifeline in Apps, Mobile, and Voice – Productivity; Deloitte Digital for Prince of Wales Hospital ‘Lucy’ in Apps, Mobile, and Voice – Technical Achievement; MightNice for Sprinklr: Square Pig in Video – Animation; Sydney Opera House and Infinity Squared for Seconds to Stage in the Music – ‘Video/ Music’ category, Studio Bravo! is the Webby Winner in Websites – Events for Melbourne International Arts Festival 2018 Website, Isobar for Tombraider in Social – Social Content Series & Campaigns and The Voxel Agents for The Gardens Between Us in Games – General Games.

The People’s Voice Awards were given to Cummins&Partners for Australian Secret Intelligence Service ‘The Most Interesting Job Interview’, The Monkeys for Unicef ‘Give a Minute of Your Time’ and Freelancer.com in Websites – General Websites.

Tourism Australia and Droga5 New York’s ‘Dundee: The Son of a Legend Returns Home’ has scored two Webby wins in Video – Integrated Campaigns and Social – Travel.
