Australia has secured 43 finalists in round of judging for the 2021 New York Festivals Advertising Awards. Thinkerbell leads the Australian agency pack with 20 finalists, followed closely by Saatchi & Saatchi Australia with 19 finalists.
Thinkerbell scored eight finalists for Bega ‘The Purple Hive Project’, six finalists for NRMA Insurance ‘Climate Warriors’, five for NRMA Insurance ‘Invisible Fires’ and one for Furphy ‘The Unbelievable Kick’. Saatchi & Saatchi Australia has secured 16 finalists for The Royal Australian Mint ‘Donation Dollar’, one for St George ‘Christmas’ and one for St George ‘The Chase’.
Agencies scoring one finalist apiece include Orchard for RACGP ‘Expert Advice When It Matters Most’; The Dylan Agency for HSBC ‘Barangaroo Lion’; The Hallway for BINGE ‘To all of you Bingers’.
Students from RMIT University have been shortlisted twice for ‘Mask Made’ and ‘Whilst Bleeding’.
The Australian finalists will now be judged by a 25-member Executive Jury of international award-winning creative leaders.
