KFC Australia has introduced ‘KFC FLG’, a new campaign and brand philosophy developed by Ogilvy.
The tagline signifies a modern transformation of the brand, building on the iconic 1950s slogan “it’s finger lickin’ good.”
The new campaign was directed by Owen Trevor Black through Rabbit.

All well and good to use FLG in the KCF ad but it would help if people knew what you were talking about. Growing up in the 70’s I was used to the finger licking good tag line but honestly that phrase has been prevalent for a while and people don’t read minds – you do need to explain. It didn’t click with me and I had to Google it. Tired of seeing the ad and not realising what they were on about, annoyed when I realised but frustrating all the same.
