This is what the Aussie industry is missing. Budget Directs ‘Cpt Risky’ could have been pushed to a level like this…. but it wasn’t. Let’s turn it around in 2016. Well done to all involved.

I like the rocket car spot. The whale spot is trying too hard. Ridiculous just to be ridiculous and so not funny.
I agree that this is where captain risky could have been taken. Difference is tone.
Tone in these is treated serious which works to contrast the stupidity of character. Captain risky is just slapstick.
This seems to be a common thread with all Australian comedy.
The rocket car spot is great.
Kept thinking about Captain Risky the whole time though.
