Thank you advertising. If it wasn’t for you I’d never have guessed that black people are made of chocolate and coffee.
I’m thinking the chocolate brothers brothers might be gay.
This is the single worst piece of advertising i have seen in years. Truly, on so many levels, utterly awful.
a bit harsh
she loves the chocolate.
To think they made a making of.
Truly shit.
chocolate bathwater. hmm delicious.
Just a tad racist.
Using Racism to sell chocolate- Niiiice.
How is it racist?
I reckon it’ll sell a shitload of chocolate
A bit hard to swallow…
It’s not racist. It’s racial.
Or interracial…
chocolate ads in this part of the world have a long history of fetishising black people. i know this also has a white chick in it, but it’s in the same kind of trend.
What do you mean, ‘YOU people’?
The best handling of the old chocolate-cum-coffee-aimed-at-the-chicks cliché was in a self-referential coffee ad many years ago. The clever twist being that the “suitably exotic-looking” black guy in the supermarket turns out to be gay – leaving the presumptuous, stalking white female looking stupid. Yes, pure Kenya Gold, that one!
My view is that the ad is well directed and entices desire for a block of chocolate.
But according to copyranter website ( http://copyranter.blogspot.com/2010/07/slightly-nsfw-nude-wet-interracial.html ) this is a Rip off ad, and apparently they use one of competitors chocolate – Nestle or Cadbury’s – A rumour has it that on the making they needed to use a competitor product for the chocolate as their product didn’t melt – Ironic.
7:47 – have any proof to back that up?
Anonymous – Do you work for Whittaker’s agency?
I said rumour, not fact.
The rumour is just that, a rumour.
The chocolate used was obviouldy not the actual Ghana and Pepperment, but was infact the whittakers plain Dark Ghana

I’ve viewed the ad and appreciate it on some levels – it’s beautiful to look at and I appreciate the ideal of racial harmony!
But on the whole, I object to the nudism as I feel the ad is just another step towards the normalisation of pornography. We are perving on the couple – voyeurs.
I personally am concerned about how much porn influences society today. Talk to a 25 year old and they’ll tell you pubic hair makes them feel dirty, they can’t compare with porn stars in bed, anal sex is OK but they personally don’t go for it. WHAT? We never had to deal with this shit! Gen X is responsible for creating the monster.
THINK OF THE CHILDREN!!!
Looks great. I love this ad.
LOVE IT BEAUITFUL AND CUTE but is it non toxic paint ot chocolate?
