ARC EDIT announces new signing Elise Butt

ARC EDIT has signed award-winning editor Elise Butt to its roster for representation in Australia and New Zealand. Butt is available both locally and remotely.

Butt – who is repped in the UK by Trim Editing – has had an exciting global career since leaving her native Sydney, with commercial work for leading brands such as Apple, Nike, Tourism Australia and Lurpak, as well as music videos for artists such as Little Simz, Dua Lipa, Calvin Harris and Kasabian.

In 2019, she won best editing for Libresse ‘Viva La Vulva’ directed by Kim Gehrig, at the Clio’s, D&AD and Eurobest. The spot then went on to win D&AD ‘The Craft Black Pencil of the Decade’. More recently, Televisual Creative named Butt as one of the UK’s top 10 best editors.

Says Peter Sciberras, co-founder at ARC: “We have been really impressed by Elise’s work over the past few years. She has formed some great relationships with many top directors, and we look forward to her bringing her talent to Australia.”

Says Butt: “It’s been inspiring to see the work coming from ARC, they’ve certainly established themselves as a strong creative force in the industry. I am so delighted to be joining such a talented roster and to call them my Aussie editing family.”

Says Daniel Fry, executive producer at ARC: “Elise is a truly global talent, and it’s so exciting to offer her distinctive eye to the great stories coming out of AUS + NZ. With Elise’s signing, ARC continues to grow our roster into one of the best in the world.”
