Andy Flemming creates ‘TinyAgency’, a miniature agency that takes real briefs and most likely screws them up
Top writer and advertising’s provocateur, Andy Flemming has today launched ‘TinyAgency‘, a miniature agency filled with miniature people, including himself.
Says Flemming: “Clients fucking love AI. So I coded, built and pushed technology to the absolute limit to create the agency of their dreams.”
Built by Flemming himself, the miniature agency is designed to give each character a genuine AI brain allowing them to fight, gossip, comment on actual advertising news and learn to either like or absolutely despise their workmates – just like a real agency.
“I have absolutely no idea what they’ll do or say,” says Flemming. “But it’s quite fun to watch them panic, moan and bang on about awards they’ll probably never win.”
The agency’s miniature employees watch uninspiring post-it-note sessions, drink coffee, have internal reviews and play with the obligatory agency dog.
The agency is in a beta stage right now, but Flemming’s hoping at least one of their pathetic attempts at creativity might make it into the wild.
Says Flemming: “I gave them a fictional McDonald’s brief and they actually presented a really good headline, which kind of defeated the entire point of the exercise.”
At the end of the process, users can actually sack the AI agency and contact Flemming himself, which Flemming is genuinely hoping will happen.
“It better,” says Flemming. “Or this could just be the most expensive and time consuming work generation exercise in advertising history.”
You can visit the agency now at http://www.andystinyagency.com/
(If by some miracle, the agency is bombarded with briefs the AI will possibly stop until Flemming piles even more money into CloudFlare’s deep pockets. For that, he apologises in advance.)

Andy is a genius. This is still anonymous yeah?
I second that. I’ll exclusively use TinyAgency for all my concepting from now on. And yeah, pretty sure this is still anonymous.
