amaysim extends ‘Little Sim, Big Love’ rebrand with Love Machine music video via 72andSunny
Australia’s fourth largest telco, amaysim, with over 1.19M happy customers, has today debuted the official music video for the song at the centre of its new campaign, Love Machine, performed by former Gang of Youths lead guitarist, Joji Malani and produced by creative agency 72andSunny.
The music video builds on the success of amaysim’s recently launched Little Sim, Big Love brand platform and tells a tongue in cheek story of how the Love Machine (Malani) came to be.
amaysim chief marketing officer, Renee Garner, says the decision to create the music video was prompted by a huge amount of positive feedback from customers: “Our customers loved the Love Machine cover, by Joji Malani, featured in our recent campaign so much that they were contacting us requesting the full version of the song. amaysim is known for showing our customers crazy customer love, so in the spirit of big love we decided to go one better and create a Love Machine music video for our customers to enjoy.”
Says Luke Martin, head of product, 72andSunny: “Having landed on this awesome song for the Little Sim, Big Love brand platform, we were stoked to bring the Love Machine to life further in a music video. Working with amaysim, Joji Malani and our other partners we had a lot of fun on set, capturing the magic of the song and more of the love from amaysim to their customers.”
Shot in Sydney under strict COVID-19 regulations, the new Love Machine track and video will be promoted as part of amaysim’s fully integrated rebrand campaign which encompasses TV, social, digital and PR.

“Dad, was that your commercial?”
“I dooooon’t know!”
Hot garbage.
What did I just watch? I think I got it but maybe it just made me dumb.
Oddly fun..
Anybody else concerned she never washed her hands after dropping one?
Yep…I noticed too…
Turned me right off…
Am I alone here in thinking that this is a bit of weird gold?
Yes
Ok so the girl is peeing in the opening shot. I am giving points for getting that through that alone. The rest is just a strange trip of old tropes. Not sure what it’s about but if this is the future of advertising then game on.
The alternative is everything we rail against.
I ordered a Love Machine from Wish.com
Yes, yes you are.
Are you one of those silly flogs with a fly rap alias? Come on light weight, back yourself, try and get some work up here, and get some feedback.
What is this selling again?
