Verizon Media has today announced the appointment of Aaron Macarthur to the role of NSW sales director.
Macarthur will hold commercial responsibility for Verizon Media’s premium media brands including Yahoo News, Yahoo Finance, Yahoo Sport and Yahoo Lifestyle in addition to their full range of advertiser solutions including RYOT Studio, Verizon Media DSP and Verizon Media Native Solutions.
The appointment is effective immediately with Macarthur replacing Clare Rudduck who will depart on maternity leave Friday, 2 August. He will be reporting into national sales director Rachel Page.

Prior to this he held a number of senior commercial roles including group sales director at News Corp and commercial director at Southern Cross Austereo.
Commenting on the announcement, Page said the appointment was an integral part of Verizon Media’s ongoing commercial direction and success: “This is a crucial role within Verizon Media as we continue to invest in creating Australia’s most exciting and successful media brands. I’m pleased to welcome Aaron to the team and look forward to the value he will add, building upon the great work already carried out by Clare across NSW.”
Macarthur said he was delighted to be joining Verizon Media in such a pivotal role: “With such an exciting portfolio of global brands, proprietary technology, content capabilities and unique understanding of culture and code, Verizon Media is perfectly positioned to drive effective audience outcomes for both agency and client partners. I’m delighted to be joining the Verizon Media team and can’t wait to start delivering results.”
