Allianz Insurance appoints The General Store as new strategic and creative agency of record

The General Store has been appointed as the new agency of record for Allianz Insurance. The General Store will work across the brand’s Direct to Consumer Division and is primarily focused on growing the home and motor insurance offers. But the agency will play a broad role across the business.

Says Matt Newell (pictured below), CEO, The General Store: “We started working with Allianz back in December to help get a campaign live and the partnership has flourished since then.

“I think our retail expertise has proven to be valuable in this category. And the strength of our project management team has delivered a lot agility to the marketing plan.”

“Allianz have built a marketing team with impressive capabilities across marketing, digital and analytics, so we are looking forward to tapping into everything they have to offer. Ultimately we want to be an extension to an already strong team.”

“Allianz have got an award-winning suite of insurance products, so there is a good story to tell. We are looking forward to helping shape the brand, the communications and the customer experience for the future.”
