AIRBAG signs international director Patrik Bergh who relocates to Sydney from his London base

AIRBAG is welcoming globally awarded Swedish director Patrik Bergh onto the roster, as he journeys from his London base to relocate to Sydney.

Bergh is a director known for his talent of story-telling that is emotionally driven, using comedy and drama to bring out the best performances. He has created memorable films for many car clients such as VW, Nissan, Honda to name a few, and global brands such as Google, Sonos, and Axe.

Bergh has won industry recognition for his work in the UK and Europe and his recent comedic short film ‘Quest for Fire’ – about a support group for metal fans – was recently featured on Shots to much acclaim. The article is available in full on the Shots website.

Says Bergh: “Aside from the introduction to the Australian reptile community in my backyard – I’m thrilled to be here in Oz with the awesome AIRBAG team.”

Says Martin Box, head of production/EP, AIRBAG: “We’re delighted to have Patrik aboard. Despite Patrik’s passion for heavy rock, he has a great sense of humour and a cool Swedish accent and we’re looking forward to doing great work together!”

Bergh’s work is viewable here, and to talk through potential projects, contact Martin Box (martin@airbag.co) or Alex Tizzard (alex@airbag.co).
