Agency-born startup Tiide responds to growing demand for better marketing attribution
Australian SaaS startup Tiide is experiencing rapid early growth as marketers and agencies increasingly search for simpler ways to combat deteriorating tracking and attribution caused by browser restrictions, ad blockers and privacy updates.
Originally developed by ad agency Ten Past Ten, in response to tracking challenges repeatedly encountered amongst its client base, Tiide now operates independently as a standalone SaaS platform focused on helping marketers and agencies recover lost conversion data through accessible server-side tracking technology.
The platform has quickly attracted interest from agencies, eCommerce brands and marketers looking for an alternative to the complexity usually associated with server-side tracking implementations.
While server-side tracking is increasingly being viewed as the new standard of digital measurement, implementation has often remained expensive, developer-heavy and inaccessible for many businesses.
Tiide Co-Founder Jeff Miller said the strong early response reflected a growing industry frustration with unreliable reporting and overly complicated solutions: “Marketers know they’re losing visibility of conversions, but most server-side tracking solutions are too technical or too expensive for everyday use.
“We created Tiide after years spent working alongside marketers navigating increasingly unreliable attribution and overly complex tracking setups. The goal was to make server-side tracking something marketers could actually implement in minutes, not weeks.”
The platform helps improve the reliability of reporting and optimisation signals across platforms like Meta and Google Ads by moving tracking server-side, reducing data loss caused by browser limitations and ad blockers.
Developer and Co-Founder, Ben Ayles, said the problem the platform solves is surprisingly significant: “We expected to see users recovering up to 30 – maybe 40 – per cent of their data. But in some cases they are retrieving 60 per cent or more. This amount of data recovery has direct positive effects on marketers’ budgets and decision-making. We are helping marketers save thousands of dollars every month with a platform that costs $25–$50 [USD] to run.”
Unlike many enterprise-focused alternatives, Tiide positions itself around simplicity and accessibility, with no server-side GTM expertise required and setup designed to take less than 10 minutes.
The platform also includes a live dashboard designed to help marketers visualise where data loss is occurring and how much tracking is potentially being recovered.
Miller said demand for more reliable marketing data is accelerating as businesses become increasingly dependent on performance marketing channels: “Better optimisation is only possible with good data. If platforms are missing conversions, marketers are making decisions based on incomplete information.
“Server-side tracking might be the new industry standard, but there’s still a massive gap in the market for solutions that are genuinely simple, accessible and affordable.”
