Hamish Stewart joins Apparent from CHEP in the role of chief creative and experience officer
Apparent has appointed Hamish Stewart as chief creative and experience officer, joining the agency after a four year stint at CHEP Network, where he served as national executive creative director – experience.
Prior to joining CHEP Network, Stewart spent over four years at GHO Sydney, joining as experience strategy director, progressing to creative partner.
Throughout his career, Stewart has led creative departments at top agencies like R/GA Sydney and M&C Saatchi/Mark. His work spans a remarkable portfolio, including pioneering projects such as NRMA’s Safety Hub and Google’s award-winning Through the Dark and Build with Chrome. Stewart has been instrumental in delivering innovative campaigns for brands like Commonwealth Bank, Telstra, Optus, Macquarie, Samsung, and more.
Stewart’s accomplishments include over 250 awards from major global shows, including Cannes Lions Gold and Titanium Lions, D&AD Yellow Pencils, and top honors from One Show, Grand Clios, and Spikes Asia. He has also been recognised with prestigious titles like Australian Agency of the Year and Innovation Agency of the Year. Notably, Stewart’s work received Australia’s only FWA Global Website of the Year.
An industry thought leader, Stewart has spoken at prominent events like Spikes Asia, Ad:tech, Spark Festival, and Google, and twice delivered AWARD School’s digital lecture, which students rated the most engaging and informative of the program.
